5th Ring Road Conditions
No roadworks on this road. Risk of traffic jams at Shangqing Bridge. No access to Jingyuan Road at Yamenkou Bridge (from September 5 through to September 30); use Fushi Road at Jinyuan Bridge instead.

The 5th Ring Road (五环路, 五環路, Wu Huan Lu) is an expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city approximately 10 kilometres from the centre of the city.

Although it is the city's fourth ring road, it is, oddly enough, named the 5th Ring Road.

Route[]

The 5th Ring Road runs within the confines of the municipality of Beijing. It has an odd twist at the southernmost tip; in order to avoid bumping into the confines of Nanyuan Airport, it has to undergo a major bend at Tuanhe Bridge (团河桥).

Basic Route: Laiguangying (来广营) - Wuyuan Bridge (五元桥) - Yaojiayuan (姚家园) - Yuantong Bridge (远通桥) - Wufang Bridge (五方桥) - Dayangfang (大羊坊) - Yizhuang (亦庄) - Tuanhe (团河) - Xihongmen (西红门) - Langfa (狼垡) - Wanping (宛平) - Yamenkou (衙门口) - Xianghongqi (箱红旗) - Shangqing (上清) - Beiyuan (北苑) - Laiguangying (来广营)
